Signing a Lease

A lease is a legal binding contract requiring you to pay a
certain
amount for a certain period. Before you enter into any rigid lease
agreement, you must get information on future zoning plans and
decide how long you wish to remain at a location under
consideration.
Listed below are items that should be carefully considered before
entering into a lease agreement:
- Terms of the Lease
- Signage
- Improvements and Alterations
- Safety
- Licensing Authorities
- Option to Renew
- Do you have the right to sublease or assign the lease?
- Is the location appropriate to the kind of business you will
conduct?
