Georgia Lighthouses Open to Visitors
Cockspur Island Lighthouse – Operated by the National Park Service, this lighthouse is open daily and is located on the Savannah River north of Tybee Island. However, it is only accessible by boat. The NPS does not provide boat access or guided tours. Phone number: (912) 786-5787

Tybee Island Lighthouse – Operated by U.S. Coast Guard lease to Tybee Island Historical Society, this lighthouse is located on Tybee Island at the Savannah River entrance, at 30 Meddin Street, off Route 80. It is open every day except Tuesday, 9-6 during summer and 9-4 during winter. Phone number: (912) 786-5801

Sapelo Island Lighthouse – Operated by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, this lighthouse is located off U.S. 17 near Darien. Phone number: (912) 485-2251.

St. Simons Island Lighthouse – Located at 101 12th Street on St. Simons Island, this lighthouse is operated by U.S. Coast Guard lease to the Coastal Georgia Historical Society. It is open on Mon. – Sat. from 10-5, and on Sunday from 1:30-5 daily. Phone number: (912) 638-4666
