It's easy to get involved and become a CROP Walker
The 2007 walk, the 29th annual, is a 5K (3.1-mile) event. It begins and ends at the South Carolina State House, at the corner of Gervais and Main streets.
You can register the day of the walk beginning at 1:30 p.m. The Columbia Community Jazz Band highlight the pre-walk preparations before the walk begins at 2:30.

Walkers who raise at least $75 will get a free T-shirt. Walkers are encouraged, however, to try to raise $100 or more.
