Rivers and river sides are natural places to flock to, or get away to, for fun or leisure. The Broad, Congaree, and Saluda Rivers of Columbia and the surrounding mid-lands offer a place for many different activities from fishing and swimming to boating, in its many forms, to just relaxing.
There are many organizations that can help you enjoy the rivers in the area. We've listed some of these. Of course, this list is always under revision and improvement.
