Sloan's School was established in 1970 as A College Preparatory School with grades Kindergarten thru 12 for the purpose of educating students to achieve academic excellence. It is a fully accredited member of the Private School Accreditation Alliance.
Sloan's School is located on 12 acres in the heart of St. Andrews, just off Graystone Blvd. in Richland County. On the campus are two fenced playgrounds, 15 classrooms, a multipurpose gym with a stage, athletic field and pool.
Whenever a student applies for admission to Sloan's School, an interview between the parents, the child and the Director of Admissions is required before the application is acted upon.
Sloan's School does not discriminate on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin in its admission policies, or in the administration of its programs.
The school houses grades K thru 12 with a teacher pupil ratio of no more than 15 students to 1 teacher. These ratios are maintained to assure your child is working up to his or her potential. The low teacher pupil ratio enables our teachers to provide each child personal and individual attention for optimal learning.
The after school program runs from 2:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. daily. The program is under the direction of certified teachers who provide one to one tutoring, if needed, homework help and supervised play activities for the students.
All calsses are held Monday through Friday.

The Sloan's School Foundation was established to seek funding to supplement the educational opportunities available to all students. The board is made up of interested parents, teachers and community leaders. The Foundation's initial effort will focus on providing computers and software to enable all students to become technology literate.
