The Sumter County Library

The Friends of the Library Annual Meeting will be held Monday, March 22, 2010 at 6pm at the Main Library. The speaker will be Sumter historian Sammy Way, who will give a presentation on the history of libraries and literary societies in Sumter. Call Janet Caldwell at 803/469-8110 for more information.

The library will be closed Monday, February 15th for President's Day.

Black History Month movies at the Wesmark Library begin February 6th at 3pm with "Race to Freedom".

Make plans to attend our Black History Month program on Thursday, February 18th, 10am at the Downtown library. There will be Gullah Storyteller Jackie Mikell, Step Team and more!
