Visit the Sumter County Library, log on to a computer, and enjoy free, unlimited access to interactive skill-building courses and a broad range of practice tests based on such official exams as the ACT, SAT, GED, ASVAB, Firefighter, Police Officer, Paramedic, EMT Basic, U.S. Citizenship, Postal Worker, Cosmetology, Real Estate Agent & Broker Exams. This valuable service is available 24/7 from any internet-enabled computerin your library and even from your home!
Instructions
1.
Open your
web browser either
at the library or at home and
go to the Sumter
County Library
Home Page
- www.midnet.sc.edu/sumtercls.
Click on New
User
if you are a first time visitor. You will open in a registration page that asks
you to create a username and a password. You must
use your Sumter Library Card number as your user name. Please make note of your
password. You will then be directed to the Academic
and Resource
page.

If you are returning to LearningExpressLibrary.com you
may go either through our website or go directly to http://www.LearningExpressLibrary.com
and
select Returning
User
and then go to the Sign-in
Screen
and sign in using your user name and password. This will take you to the Academic
and Resource
page.
3.
On the Academic
and Resource
page you will find a list of the exams and courses chosen by the library to be
available to our patrons. You may find out more about a test by clicking on it.
Or proceed to take the test by selecting Practice
Now.
4.
Selecting Practice
Now
enters the test into your account. Select Start
to proceed to the test. Selecting Add
Products
returns you to the Academic
and Resource
page.
5.
After selecting Start
the test instructions page appears. After reading the instructions, select Start
at the bottom of that page.
6.
Proceed with the test; you will receive results and analysis upon
completion of that test. When you have completed the test and reviewed your
answers select Score
My Test.
If you quit the test before completion, you may place the test in My
Account
and resume testing when you next visit the site.
7.
After completion, scroll to the bottom of the screen and select View
Results.
There you will receive an analysis of the right and wrong answers.
8. Exit
the tests by closing the browser out.
To
Begin a Practice Exam at the Library and Finish at Home
1.
From the library computer, launch the browser and navigate to Learning
Express.
2.
Click on the New
User
button on the right.
3.
Register using your library card number as your username and create a
password of your choice.
4.
Select and then proceed with the practice exam of your choice. If you do
not finish the test at the library, select the Finish
My Test Later
button.
5. When
you are using your home computer, navigate to:
http://www.midnet.sc.edu/sumtercls
or
http://www.LearningExpressLibrary.com
and
click on Returning
User.
6.
Sign in using your Sumter County Library Card number as your username and
the password you selected earlier. (NOTE: The
library will not
have a record of your password.)
7. Click on the My Account button at the top of the page then click Continue to resume the test you started earlier.
