Bringing the Good News

Whaley Street United Methodist Church, following the example and teachings of Jesus, has a heartfelt commitment to missions work.  Below are some of the mission projects important to this church:
  • Missionaries Perry and Ann Priest are missionaries who have served many years first in South America and most recently in Jos, Nigeria.  They have recently returned to South Carolina.  The Priests have been affiliated with Whaley St. UMC for many years and supported by our prayers and annual offering.  Perry attended Whaley St. UMC and taught Sunday School here during his enrollment at Columbia Bible College.  The Priests are Wycliff Bible translators.
